Just beginning dinner circles

The Just Beginning Train-the-Trainer program aims to empower older adults by helping them navigate the unique challenges and opportunities of retirement. As older adults transition from traditional careers into retirement, they often face unique challenges, including the need for renewed significance. Many seniors struggle with feelings of unfulfillment, compounded by societal pressures and unresolved emotional experiences.

This program will bridge the gap between self-awareness and meaningful action, encouraging participants to harness their inner wisdom and step confidently toward fulfilling lifelong held dreams. Our program will train older adults to become peer coaches and facilitators using our customized curriculum.

Participants will learn how to guide others through self-discovery, inspire a reinvigorated sense of life purpose, and contribute to building a supportive community. Upon completion, participants will receive certification as Just Beginning Trainers, empowering them to spark change and make a positive impact in their own communities.

The Just Beginning Dinner Circles program is a transformative initiative designed for older adults and retirees, offering a space to foster meaningful conversations, personal connections, and purposeful reflection—all over shared meals in a warm, inclusive environment.

The program is built around the 3 Cs: Conversation, Connection, and Cause. Conversation allows participants to engage in enriching exchanges, sharing personal experiences and insights. Connection encourages the building of deep, lasting relationships and a strong sense of belonging. Cause invites participants to explore their life’s purpose and discover ways to make a meaningful impact in the world around them.

Held in small, facilitated group settings, each dinner circle accommodates up to eight participants, with rotating dinner hosts. Skilled facilitators guide focused, respectful discussions to ensure a rich, supportive environment where everyone’s voice is heard.

Participants will benefit from gaining fresh perspectives, insights, and lasting friendships. The program provides opportunities for self-reflection and personal growth, helping individuals discover new pathways to purpose in their lives.

In addition to personal development, Dinner Circles help build community and support networks. By forging meaningful connections, participants cultivate a strong sense of belonging and create a supportive network of friends and companions.*

The program also inspires positive change, empowering participants to drive meaningful transformation in their own communities. It’s a chance to embrace the golden years as a time for contribution and personal fulfillment, making a lasting impact in the world.
